Ever wondered how to make great coffee? If you have, you can find out all about it if you drop by Taste South Burnett’s cellar door between 11:00am and 3:00pm on Sunday, October 1.
The South Burnett’s top barista – Bonny Heit from Bonny’s Barista Basics – will be running live demonstrations that will give you plenty of tips about how to make great coffee at home.
There’ll also be local coffee tastings, and it’s all completely free with no need to book – just come along and see the South Burnett’s premier barista in action.
Taste South Burnett are the South Burnett’s cellar door, and they stock the region’s largest range of home-grown products.
These include wines from Kingsley Grove, Tipperary Estate and Barambah Wines; liqueurs from Cranes Winery; pressed oils and peanut butters from Proteco; organic chutneys and preserves from Richard’s Kitchen; teas and coffees; locally produced smallgoods from Swickers; capers from Bunya Red Farm; and many, many more.
Their award-winning cellar door is located at Shop 4, 36 Alford Street in Kingaroy (just at the end of the arcade) and it’s open from 11:00am to 5:30pm Tuesdays to Fridays; and 10:00am to 4:00pm on Saturdays and selected public holidays.
If you drop by for a visit, you can sample South Burnett wines and many of the other lines they stock.
Taste South Burnett also provide freshly-made morning teas, lunches and afternoon teas you can eat in the shaded eating area outside their shop.
And – of course – the region’s best range of delicious freshly-made fudges.
